Phoenicia
successfully recreated the first circumnavigation of Africa, accomplished by Phoenician mariners in
circa 600BC, in a replica Phoenician/Mediterranean vessel.

We
are pleased to announce that we have agreed a sailing schedule for the
UK Voyage in spring 2012 and crew applications are now open. Please

Phoenicia
prepares for a voyage to the UK in 2012
Phoenicia
rests in Cagliari, Sardinia, for the winter months before embarking upon
an exciting voyage to the UK. 2012 will see Phoenicia retrace the
ancient tin trading route with Cornwall.
The voyage will
recommence from Sardinia in early April and will take up to 6-8 weeks.
The voyage will include a number of ports of call such as Gibraltar, the
Azores, Falmouth, Plymouth, Weymouth, Southampton before a longer stay
in London.

receives Maltese hospitality
Phoenicia
was delighted to return to Malta in October 2011 courtesy of Manoel Island Marina during the
start of her transit towards the UK. Phoenicia arrived in
Malta on the 19th October. With thanks to Manoel Island for a warm
welcome.
