is attempting to recreate the first circumnavigation of Africa, accomplished by Phoenician mariners in 600BC,
in a replica Phoenician/Mediterranean vessel.

Phoenicia is alongside at Richards Bay
Phoenicia sailed into Richards Bay at
the end of January receiving a fantastic welcome from the Zululand Yacht
Club, media and local supporters. The crew are busy hosting VIP and
school visits to the ship and getting Phoenicia ready for the next leg
towards Cape Town. The ETD from Richards Bay is 7th Feb. Watch this
